As a business owner, you can only do so much when the unexpected occurs. However, by taking the necessary precautions to help prevent accidents, you will be in a better position than when you were not prepared at all. Therefore, look for coverage that suits all of your business needs so you can remain open during any storm.
According to Dayton Daily News, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Advisory for the Miami Valley. This is due to the anticipation of winds gusts, which are capable of producing damaging winds and even a tornado.
The advisory is set to expire at 6 p.m. this evening. These winds could reach around 30 mph and gusts could reach about 50 mph. The results of these speeds could cause property damage and create hazardous driving conditions for high profile vehicles like tractor-trailer rigs.

DP&L Director of Operation Kelly Millhouse said the company is preparing for outages. "We have our emergency restoration team standing by should the weather become severe. We have additional linemen and line clearance crews ready to quickly address outages."
At Amer Insurance, we want the community to be aware of the severe weather coming. It is important to know what to prepare for during the worst of situations, especially for local businesses.
